Vray Rhino

V-Ray® for Rhino course has been designed for creating photo-realistic renders. Not just images but animation as well. You can create fast renders using their existing library having 500+ Drag and Drop materials. And you can customise and adjust the materials to your requirements. You will learn all the 9 types of lights and where.

Steps for installing and configuring V-Ray for use with Rhino.

* If you do not already have Rhino installed, please follow the instructions on here

Configuring for Windows 10
- Create an account with Chaos Group here
- Download V-Ray for Rhino 6 at this link by selecting V-Ray | Rhino and then version 6
- Launch the installer you've downloaded, agree to the terms, uncheck License Server.... beneath Install the Chaos license server to manage licenses, and select Install Now

Vray Rhinoceros

- In the Start Menu, scroll to Chaos Group in the alphabetized program list and then select Change V-Ray license settings
- In the License server field beneath Primary license server, enter Vray rhino tutorial144.92.146.182
- Immediately below this field, enter 30304 into the Connection port field, and then select OK
- Launch Rhino and in the toolbar menu select RenderCurrent RendererV-Ray for Rhino
- If you have not previously launched Rhino, after you initially launch it, select Use the Zoo and then enter SOE-MAXQDA.ad.education.wisc.edu
- Place any solid object into the scene from the toolbar menu dropdown Solid, and then select select RenderRender in the toolbar menu
- If the V-Ray licensing was correctly set, the V-Ray render window will open
- If not, you will see an error message display in command prompt
