The game was released several times by different publishers. Current patch is Update 4. The Northern Expansion. The official expansion pack added additional quests and new buildings to the game. Have the 'Gold' version for PC, lots of fun, despite the fact that you really don't do much. Similar to many other RTS games except you neither hire nor control your troops! Also there is not really any 'resource gathering' as seen in most RTS games, you just need to build a town that makes money and attract the heroes to defend it, which makes more money to attract more heroes and eventually they (hopefully) defeat the 'end' baddie. Ok, by that it sounds kind of lame, but trust me, it's a truly surprising amount of fun. I have no idea what it's doing on the RPG list though.
